Applying the Masters Handicap System

Where appropriate the Masters Championships will use the Masters Handicap System as outlined in the British Rowing Almanack.

Deciding where and when to merge races, move crews up or use the handicap system can be complicated but we will try to give as many crews as possible a race within the following guidelines:

Standard Times

These are the Standard Times that will be used by the British Rowing Masters Championships. They should be used in conjunction with the ‘Masters Handicap Events Operating Notes’ that can be found in the current issue of the British Rowing Almanack.
